The data sits in thousands of county systems that don’t talk to each other.
Every county keeps its own assessment roll, in its own format, on its own schedule. Finding over-assessed property means reading all of them, reliably, every year.
Forward-deployed engineering is exactly that work: going into a large organisation’s legacy systems and making the data in them usable. We did it for the IRS, the Defense Industrial Base and the Army. Now we do it for property owners.
